Relieve Foot Pain Today!
There are two sides to foot pain. There are the symptoms and there are the cause. As a podiatrist, I first analyze the symptoms to diagnose the foot condition and treat these symptoms so that our patients do not have any more pain.
At the same time, an important part of my practice is understanding the cause of each patient’s foot pain so that I can help and guide them remove the cause of their pain. This is an essential part of preventing future injury.
The most common foot conditions are plantar fasciitis, bunions, heel pain, and achilles tendinitis and may stem from simple causes such as improper footwear or an irregular shaped foot like flat feet.
To treat foot pain, there are a few things that you should do right away. Firstly, ice the area of pain. This will not only decrease inflammation of the area but accelerate the foot’s ability to heal itself. Usually, the next form of treatment that I like to use and has a high success rate at removing much pain is custom orthotics.
Changing Your Footwear For The Better
Specialized orthotics, made by me personally at my office, are custom to your own foot. They fit your foot shape perfectly and therefore, provide the maximum amount of support and comfort while you walk. Patients are surprised and amazed at the difference they feel after just a few days of wearing their custom foot orthotics.
It is important to note that at my practice, we only use natural healthy treatments to fix foot conditions and nothing that will make your foot worse before it becomes better.
Our practice, the American Foot and Ankle Specialists have two phoenix locations, one in Sun City and one in Scottsdale. Our main focus is always patient satisfaction. The reason our patients come back whenever they have foot issues is because we have proven that we can, time and again, help them overcome any foot condition that they have.
